Origin: 1870–75; creative + -ity

You were born creative. Actually, you were born an artist!

Just take a glimpse at the crayon drawing, finger painting or the free-style dancing of any small child. See the joy in those creations?  As adults, we "unlearn" how to be creative as we balance all our responsibilities and commitments.

Every time you find a way to solve a problem or even figure out how to navigate a traffic jam, you are engaging in creative thought. It's in there! In your hands! In fact, the most complex problems are solved through creativity.

But like many things, if you don't use it, you lose it!

We're not suggesting that you can be the next Picasso, but we are suggesting you have a creative side that perhaps just needs a little "dusting off."

You just need to trust your artistic instincts; that vision you had in your mind as a 5 year old. The shapes, the colors, the textures, your inspiration could be transformed into the most beautiful necklace! You don't need experience or finely honed skills, you just need the curiosity of what can be...

And what better place to do it than among friends in a little beach side shop?

So come on in! Indulge by taking a jewelry-making class! We'll help you get those creative juices flowing! At your pace and on your schedule!

In the words of Albert Einstein: "Creativity Is Intelligence Having Fun."
