Introducing the new Deco Egyptian bracelet by Colleen Ewart.
We're so proud of Colleen! A lifelong artist herself, she submitted this original art deco Egyptian themed bracelet design to Bead & Button magazine’s editorial board in 2014 - and it has now been chosen for publication.
"This bracelet was inspired by my love of art deco patterns. The many 2-holed beads available today lend themselves to the geometric patterns that remind me of that era,” explains designer and owner Colleen Ewart. Her original pattern will be published nationally in the August 2015 issue of Bead & Button.
The Bead & Button issue featuring the “Deco Egyptian Bracelet” pattern and the bead kits will both be sold at Island Cove Beads & Gallery. The "Deco Egyptian" Bead kits are also sold in our online store for $26.00. Many color schemes will be available for purchase. Curious to know what comes included in the kits - all the beads plus a coordinating clasp. All you need is to add the needle and Fireline! Or sign up for the Deco Egyptian Bracelet class this month.
