We will be gathering on Saturday March 18th at Island Cove Beads and Gallery in Indian Rocks Beach from 2-4 PM for another fun and fragrant event. You'll leave with your own custom candle creation that will bring a touch of spring into your home.

Our experienced candle maker will provide step-by-step instructions and answer any questions along the way, so you can confidently create your own Forward to Florals Embellished Candle that reflects your own personal style.
In this fun and informative candle making class you will learn basic candle terms like “candle throw,” “melt pool” “first burn,” “wax memory,” “cure time,” and “fragrance notes. You’ll learn about various types of candle waxes and fragrance available on the market today, how to calculate the amount of wax needed for the size of a vessel, how much fragrance to add, and the importance of mixing and pouring temperatures. You’ll also learn why choosing the right wick for the wax and fragrance is critical to the quality of the finished candle and how to troubleshoot candles that aren’t burning optimally.
You'll learn the basics of fragrance notes and how perfumers create a symphony of scents. You'll choose from 5 different complex floral scents, Lavender Crème Mint, Lavender Lagoon, Moonlit Blooms, Avalon Gardenia Breeze and Seaside Orchids. You can even create your own blend!
You'll also choose an 8 oz satin finish candle tin from four spring colors, Mulberry, Lavender, White and Teal
The wax is a luxury clean burning apricot and coconut wax, and the whimsical wooden wicks say “calm” on them and crackle when they burn!
Enjoy complimentary beverages and light snacks. Then take a stroll through the beautiful Island Cove Beads & Gallery shop where you can choose your custom bead embellishments. We’ll play games with giveaways while your candle firms up. Your last step will be adding your embellishments.

Includes: Hands on instruction. Supplies for each candle. Clean burning coconut apricot wax, all natural “crackling” wooden word (calm) wick, 8 oz candle tin, wick stand, wick sticker, complex fragrance oil, beads for embellishment, custom label, safety label. Educational materials, light snacks and beverages.

We totally understand, life happens. Due to the exclusivity and small nature of the event and limited seating, our cancellation/refund policy is as follows:
If you request a cancellation at least 72 hours before the time of your pouring event, we'll issue you a refund. Please allow 7-10 business days for a refund to process.
In the event you need to cancel closer to the time of your pouring event or do not attend, no refunds will be given.
