True Mother of Pearl Bead

Such breathtaking iridescence in this beautiful Mother of Pearl oval shaped bead. The colors of soft yellow and cream come from the Gold-lipped oyster of the Pinctada maxima pearl oyster.  These oysters from the Pteriidae family is the largest pearl oyster in the world.  The bead sized from hole to hole is approx. 21ml.,  the width is approx. 15ml. and the thickness is approx. 3ml. There are 9 shells beads per strand with an approx. length of 7.5”.
